Google just announced that on June 1, 2012 it will end support for Google Sync for BlackBerry. If you already have the app installed, you’ll still be able to use it; however it will not be available for download after June 1.

Google recommends that users access their email though the browser, but there is a better way; use AstraSync to get full PUSH two way sync of Gmail, calendar and contacts to your BlackBerry.
AstraSync Certified for OS7
September 20, 2011We are very pleased to announce that our Quality Assurance department has completed the testing and certification of AstraSync 4.2 for the new BlackBerry OS7 devices. AstraSync did not require any modifications to support OS7 and proved to be compatible “out of the box”.
Users of the latest OS7 devices are advised to run AstraSync in conjunction with Monitor to make the most of their new devices hardware.
AstraSync brings Hotmail to BlackBerry with Email, Calendar and Contact Sync
September 1, 2010BlackBerry owners can now synchronize their Hotmail Email, Calendar and Contacts with their BlackBerry smartphones over the air using AstraSync.
Microsoft officially announced support for Exchange ActiveSync with Hotmail and Windows Live Accounts on the 30th of August. We have now completed testing of the Hotmail service with AstraSync and have added it to our ever growing list of supported platforms.
