Google Discontinues Gmail BlackBerry App, Use AstraSync to Get Gmail Sync

Google have announced that they are discontinuing their Gmail App for BlackBerry, with support for the App being dropped in less than 10 days time.

Google recommends that users access their email though the browser, but there is a better way; use AstraSync to get full PUSH two way sync of Gmail, calendar and contacts to your BlackBerry.

Underwriters Laboratories Selects AstraSync to Connect BlackBerry Smartphones to Office 365

Microsoft Office 365, the cloud-based versions of Microsoft Exchange, SharePoint and other products, became available in a public beta last month, with Microsoft promising general availability later this year. So far, 100,000 organizations have signed up to test Office 365, which will replace and expand upon Microsoft’s current cloud-based productivity service, the Business Productivity Online Suite (BPOS).

AstraSync brings Hotmail to BlackBerry with Email, Calendar and Contact Sync

BlackBerry owners can now synchronize their Hotmail Email, Calendar and Contacts with their BlackBerry smartphones over the air using AstraSync.

Microsoft officially announced support for Exchange ActiveSync with Hotmail and Windows Live Accounts on the 30th of August. We have now completed testing of the Hotmail service with AstraSync and have added it to our ever growing list of supported platforms.
